Piece we shot for The History Channel. A small segment for America: The History of US.

This piece about an African American blacksmith inventing a whaling spear.

These are some interviews we shot for TLC. The client requested the “shakey camera” to give the piece a more personal touch.

This is the actual cut that team Hot Sets submitted to the 2011 Washington, D.C. 48 Hour Film Project.

The required elements were:
Genre: Birthday/Anniversary
Character: Riley Tompkins, Teacher
Prop: Pencil
Line of Dialogue: “I’m taking it one day at a time.”

As expected with only 48 hours to make a film, we encountered many issues, but were able to overcome them enough to produce what you see. It is missing some color correction, audio sweetening, and about a quarter of the shots, but rushing through production and making mistakes is kind of the point of the competition.
